Bio
It was the night before the flight, and the excitement was kicking in. I felt as though there was an electric cable running from my stomach to my throat, and every time I swallowed, it delivered a full-on charge. I didn’t sleep a wink. I just kept worrying about whether I was doing the right thing.
Four weeks before, I had told my Dad I was going to Europe, and while I was there, I was going to decide what to do with the rest of my life. We’d argued every day for weeks. I was exhausted, and the atmosphere at home was awful, but I knew I had to follow my heart even though I was risking my relationship with him and everyone else in my family.
But when you’re young and you’ve got a dream... shouldn’t you follow it? I thought so, and I did.
