Simone is a Los-Angeles based writer, actress, equestrian, photographer, and bookworm. She received her BFA in Creative Producing from Chapman University. She’s worked in film development at Walt Disney Studios, and as a documentary film festival programmer at Points North Institute. She also co-created, produced, and wrote for Urban Exodus, a podcast that tells the stories of rural change-makers around the world.

Alice Hlidkova was born in Czechoslovakia and moved to New York City post-1989's Velvet Revolution. A self-taught journalist, she reported for Lebanon's Daily Star and covered the Arab Spring and the Iraq War. Alice then entered the tech world, studying at Carnegie Mellon and co-founding a startup. She authored "You Screwed Up!" a self-help book on entrepreneurial growth, and "Fly My Lady," an inspirational journal for women. Her fiction, including "Pretty Girl Complex," addresses modern female struggles and heroism. Alice divides her time between the U.S. and Spain.

A young writer from the Midwest, Sadie’s interest in storytelling began after receiving detention for her second-grade book report on The Amityville Horror. Since then, she has been obsessed with hearing and telling stories deemed “unfit for polite conversation.” She studied English and Creative Writing at Wittenberg University. Her undergraduate honors thesis is a true-crime book she wrote from interviews with an Ohio family on their time as a daily newspaper dynasty. After receiving her BA in English, Sadie worked for an international student program in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, as a middle school paraprofessional in Michigan, and is a current MFA candidate in New York University’s Fiction Program. Her work has been published in The Chamber and The Furious Gazelle magazine under the name Sadie Kraus, and she enjoys reading, writing, and eavesdropping on fellow passengers during her train commute to class in NYC.

Eddie currently lives in Kansas City, Missouri, where he works as an actor and writer. Born and raised in Jefferson City, MO (one of the oft-forgotten capital cities!), Eddie attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO for his theatre education. Part of the appeal of Stephens was its long and storied history, being one of the oldest continually operating women’s colleges in the country. Yes, you read that right: Stephens is a women’s college which admits men into their arts programs–luckily for Eddie. Being a Stephens boy ensured Eddie was surrounded by sisterhood, and many of his classmates remain lifelong friends. After college, Eddie fulfilled a life-long dream in moving to New York City to pursue the arts. During his five years in the city, Eddie learned innumerable lessons, worked in every arts and real estate related field he could, and met the man he would eventually marry and with whom he would move back to Missouri (and subsequently divorce..). Eddie is intimately aware that none of our life stories go to plan in the doing, but that out of chaos comes self-betterment and knowledge. When he is not working on his biography of the Broadway titan Tammy Grimes, Eddie can be found performing, baking, spending time with loved ones–and sharing stories.
