Chris graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor's degree in English: Creative Writing. After graduation, he packed a single suitcase and bought a one-way ticket to Los Angeles, where he wrote about movies, music, and fashion (oh my!) with entertainment publications like HotNewHipHop and Flaunt Magazine. He now lives in Chicago and when he is not sending books to print, he still works the freelance grind and chisels away at his debut novel.
