Bio
A 23-year-old New Yorker, born and raised in the East Village, Naima studied Writing and Literature at Emerson College and has been freelance writing since she was just 16 years old. With a Pakistani mother, a Russian Jewish father, and a Sikh boyfriend, she enjoys interweaving her writing with cultural discussions of all kinds. Her role models are strong female authors like Toni Morrison and Jhumpa Lahiri, and she hopes to one day belong to the same category as them.
