Holiday memories of Capri

Holidays generate the most treasured memories. The camping you visited with your parents when you were little, an Italian lake where you would dive for rocks under water or the French village baker that your dad would visit every morning for warm croissants.

A holiday resort that has appealed to many for decades is the Italian island of Capri. Whether you have or haven’t visited, Capri will undoubtedly raise a holiday mood. This island at the Amalfi coast is said to have enchanted emperor Augustus with its magnificent nature and azure blue see decorated with mysterious rock formations. More recently, celebrities such as Audrey Hepburn found their way there. From the fifties onwards, the island became a truly popular holiday resort for tourists, who explore the surroundings on boat tours to the grotta azzura and in a cable car to the highest viewpoint. Still today, Capri is a favourite amongst holiday seekers and by just saying its name it evokes holiday memories.
