Dutch Football team on the train 1934

In 1934 the Dutch football team took the train to the World Cup in Italy. There were fans waving white handkerchiefs along the route, the card game jass going on in the railway carriage, and one of the footballers playing his gramophone. The journey was recorded in a short documentary (in Dutch), which you can see on the website of the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision.
