Brian Burnsed

Brian Burnsed, the consummate storyteller, has held the reins as the US Editorial Team Manager at StoryTerrace since 2022.
His prowess lies in crafting immersive narrative nonfiction, honed through 15 years of covering sports, business, and higher education for national publications. Earning multiple accolades, including being a three-time finalist for the Livingston Award for Young Journalists and receiving three National Headliner Awards for magazine writing, Brian has proven his talent in delivering captivating tales. Most recently, he was nominated for the Dan Jenkins Medal for Excellence in Sportswriting. His bylines grace prominent publications like Sports Illustrated, BusinessWeek, US News & World Report, and the NCAA’s magazine.

Brian’s journey with StoryTerrace commenced in 2021 when he joined as a Senior Project Editor, expertly managing bespoke books. He currently resides in northwest Florida, spending his fleeting free time on the golf course or relaxing on the beach with his wife and their ornery shiba inu, Zaza.
